Build-O-Bot

 Have you ever wanted your OWN robot?  At Build-O-Bot camp you will make your own remote controlled 4-wheel drive robot!! Customize one arm to be a scoop and the other to chop things up.  Race your friends or spin your robot around waving its hands! Learn how to wire motors, LEDs, buttons, switches, light sensors and more.

Camp Tuition: $324 includes early sign up discount (10% before March 15th)
Time: 9AM – 4PM, Mon – Fri (flexible drop off time between 8:15AM – 9AM and pick up time between 4:00PM – 4:30PM)

Light Racer

What is a light racer you ask?  It’s an awesome light following robot that you control and drive by shining your flashlight!  Students build and wire their own light following robot and participate in fun activities and games throughout the camp to earn opportunities to upgrade the robot’s speed, sensitivity, and style for the light races!  Motors, LEDs, light sensors, flashlights and more will get you racing through the dark this summer!

Arduino Programming Camp

This camp is designed for students who love robotics and want to take their skills to the next level.  Arduino programming camp will get your student started with his/her very own Arduino.  Students work through projects and curriculum with advanced parts and concepts while learning to program with C++.

Students must have taken 2 summer camps and/or at least 3 after school courses to be eligible for this camp.

Invites will be sent out to eligible students, or you can contact us for details.

Camp Tuition: $225
Time: 9AM – 12PM or 1PM – 4PM, Mon – Fri
Entering Grades: 3rd-6th
Min – Max: 8 – 14 Students

FAQ

What should my student bring?

Your student should bring a water bottle, and a peanut free lunch, and snack! We do take breaks outdoors so feel free to include sunblock and hats with brims. All robotics related materials we provide, and are included in the tuition.

What is the check in/check out policy?

Check in occurs between 8:15 – 9 AM. Student (and parent) will check in with the instructor. Check out occurs between 4 – 4:30 PM outside in a designated pick up area. Whoever is picking up the student must be on the authorized pick up list, and have photo ID for verification.

Do you offer payment plans?

Making EG Robotics summer camps available to everyone is a priority! If you would benefit from a payment plan please contact Maddy at egr@egrobotics.com or call the office (971) 266-3654 to set up a personalized plan for you. All payments must be finished two weeks before the camp starts.

Do you offer refunds?

A full refund is given if requested 2 weeks or more before the start date, 80% 7-13 days before, and 60% 3-6 days before. Generally no refund is given 2 days or less before the course start date.

Do any of your camps require previous experience?

Both B.O.B. and Light Racer are open to new and returning students. Our only camp with pre-requisites is the Arduino Programming Camp.

What is the deal with the Arduino Programming Camp?

Arduino Programming Camp (ACP) is an elite 1/2 day camp for previous students. Students must have taken 2 summer camps and/or at least 3 after school courses to be eligible for this camp. Current or previous club students are also welcome to join and work on new projects! If you are eligible and considering club this Fall 2018 then this class is a great sample of what to expect!
